When targeting chinook salmon, almost all Seattle charter boats use the “trolling” technique which is effective but not our style. We use a technique called “Mooching”. Each angler has their own rod so no taking turns like in trolling. It’s a great way to fish and only offered on a few Puget Sound charter boats! For coho we offer the option to troll. We offer an enclosed private restroom, not a porta potty or bucket like many local charter boats! Our trips leave from Shilshole Marina in the historic Nordic fishing town of Ballard, Washington just a short 5-mile car ride from the downtown Seattle hotel district. The Salish Sea and specifically Puget Sound are a true Northwest treasure!
