The best way to experience Seattle? From the water aboard Wind Knot Guides’ premium Grady-White Boats fishing the Puget Sound!

Located just minutes from Downtown Seattle, the Puget Sound offers quality Salmon fishing and off the charts scenery. Sure to be a trip to remember for years. We fish with light tackle and each angler has the opportunity to feel the bite! We encourage all skill levels from beginners to experienced saltwater anglers. When targeting chinook salmon, almost all Seattle charter boats use the “trolling” technique which is effective but not our style. We use a technique called “Mooching”. Each angler has their own rod so no taking turns like in trolling. It’s a great way to fish and only offered on a few Puget Sound charter boats! For coho we offer the option to troll. We offer an enclosed private restroom, not a porta potty or bucket like many local charter boats! Our trips leave from Shilshole Marina in the historic Nordic fishing town of Ballard, Washington just a short 5-mile car ride from the downtown Seattle hotel district. The Salish Sea and specifically Puget Sound are a true Northwest treasure!

All fishing gear and bait is included! We make it easy with one day licenses available on the boat so there is no need to search for a store to get a license! Book now to fish for Chinook, Coho and Pink Salmon. Pink Salmon are back in huge numbers! Chinook are often referred to as King Salmon while the Silver Salmon is the synonym for Coho Salmon

About

Light tackle, hands on fishing in relatively calm waters will bring a smile to your face. Your fishing guide has decades of experience and knows the Pacific Northwest Fishing scene. Puget Sound fishing offers the best views of Seattle as a bonus. While we do not actively seek out or follow marine mammals, Seals, Sea Lions, Porpoise and many species of marine birds are a common sight. Somedays we are lucky and get the magical visit by resident Orca (Killer Whales). Humpback and Grey Whales visit from time to time as well.
